Argentinian artist Cunt Remember, AKA Irene Carbonari, expresses radical views through a wide range of disciplines. With a background in art history and classical music, Irene has built a career as a curator, performance artist, and music producer. Following four years of running an art gallery in Barcelona, Irene relocated to Berlin to further expand artistically, finding a space between electronic music and performance art, blending these two fields to create an audiovisual experience that challenges and stretches the boundaries of aesthetic trends. Inspired by the transition from analog to digital in the early 2000’s, Cunt’s sound is imbued with contrasting alternative digital and experimental sound design, clear rolling basslines, and the foundational elements of Techno, such as the steady 4/4 analog kicks. These elements symbolize both the rhythmic heartbeat of the body and a proletarian empowerment in art and culture. Irene sees art as a shared space where people can come together.
